Hamburg, 1 June 2024 - With effect from 01.06.2024, Gregor Zowierucha will join the management of PLATH GmbH & Co. KG. In his new role, he will, among other things, manage the sales activities of the Systems & Integration business division. In this function, Gregor Zowierucha will replace Nico Scharfe, who will then become Managing Director of PLATH Corporation GmbH.

The new management of PLATH GmbH & Co. KG will thus consist of Dr. Andreas Schwolen-Backes, Gregor Zowierucha and Michael Kalt from 01.06.2024.

With Gregor Zowierucha, PLATH is gaining an experienced management personality. Mr. Zowierucha was most recently Managing Director at Elbit Systems Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG in Ulm. Prior to that, he was responsible for sales at Rheinmetall's Electronic Solutions Division in Bremen as a member of the Integrated Electronic Systems Business Unit management team. After leaving the German Armed Forces, he initially held various positions at ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik GmbH in Fürstenfeldbruck, including Head of the Unmanned Systems Business Unit. His experience is also based on several positions as a general staff officer in the German Armed Forces at the Federal Ministry of Defense (BMVg), at the Operational Command Potsdam and as Deputy Air Force Attaché at the German Embassy in Washington.

Hamburg, 27 May 2024– PLATH Corporation GmbH has acquired a stake in the Czech company Primoco UAV SE. The investment in the company, which develops and produces civil and military unmanned aerial systems, follows several years of close cooperation between the company and the Systems and Integration business division, the system integrator within the PLATH Group. ‘On 10 May 2024, we strengthened our close partnership with the Czech company Primoco by acquiring a share package of 3% for the time being’, says Stefan Efftinge, Managing Director of PLATH Corporation GmbH. ‘I am very pleased that we are now following up on several years of successful cooperation with an investment. The market for unmanned aerial systems will also continue to grow in the coming years and the cooperation between the two companies in this growth area can thus be placed on even broader pillars - a win-win situation for both specialists’. The shares were transferred on 21 May 2024.

With Oliver Werning, PLATH Signal Products is gaining an experienced manager with many years of industry experience. Mr. Werning was most recently Head of Product Sales ATC/IFF/COMMS at Hensoldt AG in Taufkirchen. Prior to that, he had extensive sales responsibilities at AEROMARITIME Systembau, Rohill Engineering B.V. in the Netherlands, Rohde & Schwarz International Operations GmbH and Siemens Nixdorf AG.

As CSO of PLATH Signal Products GmbH & Co. KG, Oliver Werning will drive the further growth of the hardware specialist. Stefan Haase strengthens the management of PROCITEC GmbH since 1 October 2023. As the second Managing Director, Mr Haase is responsible for the areas of marketing and sales alongside Jens Heyen. With Stefan Haase, PROCITEC gains an experienced manager. Mr Haase was most recently responsible for the Active Protection Systems division at Rheinmetall Protection Systems GmbH as product division manager. Prior to that, he was employed as sales manager at Schott AG. Mr Haase began his career as a naval officer.
